To maximize the lifespan of your bouquet, it is advised to keep it in its original cellophane and bag for no longer than one day (if it arrives in a bag). For optimal longevity, all flowers require fresh water and a clean cut every other day. Please continue reading for a detailed explanation.

To unwrap your bouquet if it arrives in a water bubble, we recommend doing so over a sink to catch any excess water and avoid spills. Carefully cut the bow and the green florist string beneath it to release the water bubble. Next, remove the "collar" cellophane, which is typically secured with clear tape.

Our florists skillfully arrange each bouquet with a spiral stem technique to create a visually pleasing display. The green florist string maintains this arrangement, ensuring your flowers continue to look their best. Therefore, please do not cut this string.

Measure the length of the stems against your favorite vase, from the tying point, and cut to fit. Make sure the vase is clean, filled with fresh clean water and use the flower food provided. Squeeze the stems of the bouquet together and place in the vase, making sure no leaves are in the water. Leaves in water rot down and release bacteria which which shortens the life of the blooms.

Keep your eye on the water level and cleanliness of the water, ideally change the water everyday - or at least when it looks murky.

Avoid placing your flower display near fruit (fruit emits a gas which shortens the life span of flowers), direct sun (not too difficult in Blighty!) and drafts to maximise vase life.
